Braulio Alcaraz is currently abroad studying postgraduate studies in piano at the Uniwersytet Muzyczny Fryderyka Chopina in Poland.
The young pianist come from a city called Leon in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. He was a student at the Diego Rivera House of Culture, where he began his journey at age 9. He entered the School of Music of Leon and subsequently studied at the University of Guanajuato the Bachelor of Music in 2008, from which he graduated with honorable mention in 2013.
He has performed in cities such as Warsaw and Katowice in Poland, participated in the International Cervantino XLVI Festival, in the National FONOTECA of Mexico, Spiral Cultural Forum, Piano University Cycles and in many other events in the different municipalities of the State of Guanajuato. He is a recipient of the Talent Scholarship by EDUCAFIN and is the winner of the JuventudES 2019 municipal award by the Municipal Institute of Youth of Leon.
Together with his solo career, since 2017 he has carried out the “Concert-Talks”, an artistic and human development project that seeks to motivate, promote culture and reinforce the projects for the future in young people, sharing another lifestyle through the artistic practices. Making these presentations at various points for culture and education in the State of Guanajuato and in collaboration with institutions such as Guanajoven, LeonJoven, University of Guanajuato, Cultural Institute of Leon, Franciscan University, to name a few. He was also the founder of the Artistic Collective: The Flight of the Hummingbird, a multidisciplinary group of music, painting and poetry. Today he continues to raise the name of Guanajuato and Mexico in the world, as an performer of the music composed for piano.
